Move-In Cleaning Before You Unpack

Schedule after sellers, contractors and movers have finished, but before furniture and boxes arrive. Confirm that utilities are on and that the cleaner can enter every room. If work is still underway, ordinary move-in cleaning may need to wait until dust-producing activity stops.

A typical plan considers cabinet and drawer interiors, closets, bathroom fixtures, kitchen surfaces, appliance interiors, baseboards and floors. Exact inclusions are set in the quote.

Cleaning can reveal damage, residue or odors, but it does not replace a buyer's inspection, pest inspection or repair walkthrough. We do not certify a property as sanitary or defect-free.

Photograph concerns before cleaning and tell us about fresh paint, refinished floors, natural stone or other materials that need product restrictions.

Remove abandoned items and make sure cabinets, closets and appliances are empty. Provide parking, gate and lockbox instructions. If a refrigerator or freezer is included, it should be emptied, safely defrosted when needed and kept in the condition recommended by its manufacturer.

Choose post-construction cleaning when sanding, cutting or renovation dust is the main issue. Choose a deep clean for an occupied home with established belongings. Hazardous residue, active mold, pests and abandoned chemicals need qualified specialists rather than routine cleaning.
